Software Engineer - iOS Applications

Responsibilities

Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
Produce detailed specifications
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:

3+ years of mobile development experience with evidence of exceptional ability.
Expert level proficiency in Objective C and Cocoa Touch.
Experience working with UIKit, AFNetworking, Core Data, Storyboards, Autolayouts, Push Notification, Core Graphics.
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Fluency in Swift will be a definite advantage.
Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred.
Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools, such as Instruments.
Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.

General:

Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services.
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
Flexible thinker - Don’t get too attached to a particular solution—things change quickly around here.
Detail oriented - Whole is the sum of the parts.
