We are looking for a highly skilled computer programmer who is comfortable with front-end programming, however his/her main programming experience is in .NET development in respect to server side programming. The Back-End Developer is responsible for developing and managing the functionality, architecture and server-side database management of the application.
The Back-End Developer will be required to work closely with the Technical Team Lead in completing the key deliverables that have been provided to him/her in a daily stand-up.
Back-End Developer (.NET Core) Responsibilities:
- Storing data and user access controls
- Creating servers and databases for functionality
- Manage APIs resources which work across devices
- Designing and developing APIs
- Involvement in the architecture of the solution and data science analyses.
- Organiisation of the solution logic which runs across various devices
- Build frameworks or the architecture to make it easier to program
- Skills for implementing algorithms and solving system related problems
The following skillset is a 'must have' and candidates must show proficiency with hands-on experience in the following areas:
- Server-side languages such as .Net, ASP.Net, and C#.
- Database technology such as No SQL and MongoDB.
- Extensive experience utilizing the .NET Framework and C#
- At least 1-2 years backend development experience
- Experience using Git for version control
- Ability to write quality unit and integration tests
- Awareness of security concerns
- Experience in cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
- Demonstratable experience creating RESTful APIs
- History of system integrations
- Excellent analytical and time management skills
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
