ROLE PURPOSE: This position's main responsibility is to oversee the production of excellent proposals and concept notes in compliance with company policy. The job will also put a strong emphasis on increasing the ability of partner personnel and program staff to generate high-quality proposals. During the proposal creation process, the position holder will be in charge of comprehensive partner, member, and donor contact. Working together with partners, awards coordinators, program staff, technical advisors, finance teams, members, and funders, this function reports to the awards manager.

1. Proposal Development

a) Assist the appropriate programme, partnerships, and operations teams in creating polished and presentable programme and project proposals. to speed up the creation of proposals and aid in the formulation and execution of ideas and work schedules.

a) Examine secondary literature on themes pertinent to the projects and programmes that are being suggested. Determine data, information, and analysis gaps based on data analysis. This should involve going over and gathering pertinent research, proof from other treatments with a comparable goal, best practises, and lessons learned.

c) As needed, assist in conducting field trips in the designated regions to carry out evaluations pertinent to ongoing and planned projects and programmes, as well as on the basis of pertinent strategic and programme key performance indicators.

d) As needed, assist in leading validation workshops and problem tree analyses with important partners and other pertinent stakeholders.

e) Help design projects and programmes, including the results frameworks, budgets, narrative concept notes, and proposals, that are necessary to apply for funding from current and potential donors and partners, based on the primary and secondary information gathered and building upon the strengths of the Company.

f) Gather, edit, and proofread papers for additional partnerships, stakeholders, and draught and final proposals.

2. Writing reports

The employee will support the creation and delivery of reports and reports on the company's operations:

a) Assist in the reporting of corporate actions, community effects, and outcomes in compliance with the M&E Plan of the Company Strategy and GRI G4 Sustainability reporting criteria. Assist in developing the organization's transparency and sustainability awareness culture.

b) Adopt the GRI G4 Sustainability Reporting Framework, which will serve as the cornerstone for putting the UN SDGs into practise and establishing performance benchmarks.
