Direct, control and coordinate all production-related activities (i.e. daily/ weekly production planning and daily RM / PM issuances) in the respective area to achieve production targets on time with in set standards and cost effectiveness.
Prepare, implement, monitor and review all cleaning, operating, manufacturing and other procedures to achieve good quality, enhance productively and yield.
Ensure all production activities aimed at achieving good and consistent quality products minimize number of customer complaints & non-conformances and quick response to fulfil sale orders.
Implement and maintain good manufacturing practices to prevent cross contamination.
To impart adequate, necessary cross-functional training to all workers to achieve maximum people efficiency, capability and enhance moral.
Implement and sustain TPM activities in respect area of responsibilities.
Conduct machines trails to bring continuous improvement in raw / packaging materials and to develop new products, in coordination with R&D and QC.
Implement effectively ISO-9001-2001, ISO 14001, OHSAS-1800, HACCP and UQCSRM requirements in the respective production area.
Maintain accident free environment through risk assessment, safety suggestions, near miss reporting, safety contacts and SAMS.
Coordinate with Engineering, QA, R&D, Warehouse, Planning and buying for timely availability of RM/PM, production and delivery of finished goods.
Monitoring of all daily production entries into the MFG / PRO system on time and their onward release by QC / warehouse.
Manage and utilize manpower effectively.
Minimize RM / PM wastage and cycle count variation.
