Job Description:

We are looking for an efficient assistant project manager to contribute and support the planning and execution of projects. The assistant project manager's responsibilities include monitoring project progress, following up with stakeholders on the completion or delay of project phases, scheduling meetings, and maintaining project documents and reports.

To be successful as an assistant project manager you should be able to perform any tasks assigned by the project manager in an efficient and timely manner. An outstanding assistant project manager should be able to maintain oversight of all project activities, identify any issues, and ensure these are resolved promptly.

Responsibilities:

Work directly with project managers to help implement project goals.
Assign duties to staff to implement project goals, as needed.
Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution.
Conduct daily scrum meetings.
Liaise with project lead and other project managers to maintain project schedule and efficacy.
Assist with project planning and must have a good understanding of Agile/Scrum.
Manage Tasks/Stories, bugs on JIRA.
Must be able to run full STLC.
Review project implementation and gather data on project execution.
Coordinate with project managers and other project leads following project execution.
Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field related to the hiring industry may be preferred
Industry-specific certificates and licenses may be necessary or preferred, depending on industry.
1-5 years of proven and successful experience in the software industry.
Verifiable leadership experience and capabilities, with past successful project execution.
Ability and desire to work collaborative to ensure successful project execution
Experience managing scrum artifacts and other project documentation.
Expert-level experience with Gdrive & Workspace.
Proven ability to generate and deliver reports that provide useful insight into project details.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively.
Deep understanding of agile metrics (tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.) to analyze and improve sprint planning.
Ability to understand and represent both the business and technology.
Excellent communicator in person, over the phone and through email.
Self-motivated, organized.

Plus Points:

Knowledge of the following will be considered as an advantage:
Experience working with Fintech industry
Experience working with blockchain technology
Experience with cloud technologies is a plus
Blockchain/Defi Apps.
