Location – Remote

Working Hrs – US CST Time Zone, expect to work long hours

Compensation (All Inclusive) – PKR 150,000 to PKR 200,000 per month depending on experience and number of preferred qualifications criteria met. Eligible for paid time off and benefits after completing 3 of month of probationary period.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in retail and real estate development, and operations management.

Preferred qualifications

  • Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable

Minimum Qualifications (MQs)

  • BA/BS degree.
  • Demonstrated project/program management experience
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in operations management and/or construction management.

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-team,  multi-disciplinary and multi-country and/or timezone projects.
  • Ability to use data to create impactful business cases/ presentations. Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think “outside the box” and bring creative, non-standard and innovative solutions to the table. Meet deadlines and make sound decisions, sometimes under stress.
  • Ability to handle multiple requests and work in a fast-paced and multi-cultural environment. Be responsive to internal customer requests/service issues.

Job responsibilities

  • Support operations of the gas station, convenience store and restaurant in partnership with onsite staff.
  • Act as technical liaison for our design and construction team for the new development projects; Prioritize site permitting and construction efforts. 
  • Develop and optimize business processes to improve operational efficiency with a keen eye on cost control. Develop strategic programs including change control, training, material management, vendor management, etc.
  • Find creative ways to optimize operating costs. Ensure that contractors and vendors are delivering quality services and that all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are being met. 
  • Develop and manage metrics regarding store sales and inventory. Collect and analyze large amounts of data to help develop a greenfield machine learning model to help lower inventory holding costs & improve profitability.
  • Contribute to develop strategy and framework for franchising the business model. 
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to think strategically and prioritize often competing tasks.
  • Plan, manage and execute events (digital and, eventually, in person)
  • Build efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations and help define new operational strategies with store/restaurant manager(s).
  • Mentor and assist with onboarding new team members.
  • Lead or co-lead projects and initiatives of different magnitudes.

  • As Roomi LLC’s first remote Operations Manager, you will be deeply involved in many aspects of the tactical and strategic operation of our growing real estate business. You will partner with our local store staff, customers, vendors and construction team engineers. As we grow, you will act as technical liaison with software development teams to develop and reliably run creative & scalable ML solutions for customized product & inventory management.
  • As with any startup, you will also perform an extensive array of administrative tasks (such as manage calendars, email, take meeting notes, help recruit more staff) to help optimize CEO’s daily routine.
  • You're at the heart of our first gas station’s business operations and activities. You are the soul that keeps our operations moving forward in an extremely streamlined fashion. You anticipate the operational and project management issues before they arise and work to mitigate the impact/issue with an uplifting & positive attitude.
