- Develops the school operating budgets including forecasting and review of revenue and expense accounts
- Development of long and short-range objectives for the business affairs and finances of Roots International Schools
- Supervises the overall program for budget and accounting; fixed asset management; payroll and associated reports, including payroll tax reporting and SAP reporting
- Evaluates accounting procedures, systems, and controls in all district cost centers, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and recommends improvements in their design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Maintains a continuous auditing program for all funds and assists the external and internal auditors in conducting the annual and periodic audits
· Reviews the financial status of the school division during the year and makes recommendations as appropriate regarding expenditures.
- Manages all legal and statuary obligations of the school and all tax returns
- Provides operational and programmatic support, and is expected to actively participate in developing the department’s long-range and short-range strategic plans
- Performs financial analysis and advises senior management on the financial impact of issues and or commitments to support effective decision-making
- Can conduct timely risk management to minimize costs and improve efficiency
- Understanding the big data of the organization and doing a financial forecasting to create value for the profitability of the company
