Sets up, adjusts, and operates electronic imaging equipment, and microfilm equipment.
Performs routine equipment cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs.
Validates electronic images using specialized software.
Prepares original documents for imaging.
Performs general quality control functions. (Inspects electronic and microfilm images, ensures accuracy of film box labels, measures film density and resolution, maintains and updates various control logs).
Retrieves, delivers, and files records when requested by departments.
Releases electronic images to secure repository.
Prepare patient for diagnostic imaging exam in line with doctor's notes.
Produce x-ray films of parts of the human body as prescribed by the doctor under supervision of Radiologist.
Explain procedure to patient.
Adjust and maintain radiology equipment.
Recommend staff schedules (weekly or monthly) to Radiologists.
Privacy and safety of patients must be ensured.
Radiological investigation reports duly signed by the Radiologist should be handed over to their respective department for their necessary action.
Safety of equipment and own safety must be ensured as per PNRA guidelines.
Keep record of all the Radiological Investigations.
Follow Standard SOPs of laboratory.

Any other task assigned by the Director and management
