Ensure implementation of and compliance with company SOP's for retail branch operations, sales, pricing, payments and financial policies and procedures to safe guard company resources.
Control expenditures; minimize stock losses; coordinate to ensure zero Collection Outstanding and initiate corrective timely actions.
Responsible for branch maintenance and safety of company assets.
Liaison with area management teams and builds relationships to gain information on other retailers, footfall trends, mall promotion plans.
Ensure safe keeping of Company assets so that losses are minimized.
Implement 'Disaster Recovery Plan' so that in the event of a disaster the safety of People and Assets is ensured.
Maintain motivated store team, use positive reinforcement to encourage continued improvement
Attending and chairing meetings.
Ensure consistent staff performance by coaching, counseling, disciplining; planning, monitoring, and appraising performance results.
Oversee Cashier's activities (daily cash/ credit reconciliations/ bank deposits/ down payments and sales orders).
Oversee Store Keeper's activities pertaining to branch Inventory Management/ Stock control/ Pilferage control.
Responsible for role delivery and development of Assistant branch Managers, Cashiers & Store Keepers.
