Job Description:

Responsibilities:
Technical Support: Provide technical support to end-users, assisting with hardware and software issues, troubleshooting problems, and resolving technical issues promptly and effectively.
Hardware and Software Installation: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software applications, operating systems, and other IT systems. This includes setting up new computers, servers, printers, and other peripheral devices.
Network Administration: Manage and maintain computer networks, including local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) and ensure network security, configure routers and switches, monitor network performance, and troubleshoot network issues.
System Maintenance and Upgrades: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as applying software updates, patches, and security fixes and also recommend and implement system upgrades to improve performance and security.
Data Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement data backup and recovery procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of critical data. Conduct regular backups, test data recovery processes, and assist in data restoration when necessary.
Cybersecurity: As an IT Specialists you have to play a key role in maintaining the security of IT systems. You have to implement security measures, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems and also educate end-users about cybersecurity best practices and conduct security audits.
User Training and Documentation: Provide training and support to end-users, helping them understand and effectively use various hardware and software applications and also create and update technical documentation, including user manuals and standard operating procedures.
IT Project Management: Have to participate in or lead IT projects, such as system upgrades, software implementations, or network infrastructure enhancements. You have to collaborate with stakeholders, define project requirements, and ensure successful project completion.
