Senior Data Engineers

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with over five years of expertise in ETL and data engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing data-intensive solutions, including streaming, batch processing, and data migrations. You will work extensively with modern data ingestion techniques across data lakes, data warehouses, and lakehouse architectures. A solid understanding of data governance frameworks and hands-on experience with both relational SQL and NoSQL databases are essential. The role requires proficiency in Azure cloud data services and a deep knowledge of ETL tools such as Teradata and Ab Initio. Additionally, experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Databricks, and PySpark is highly valued. Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or similar object-oriented scripting languages, along with advanced SQL expertise, are critical to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data engineering solutions for batch and streaming data.
- Implement modern data ingestion processes across data lakes, data warehouses, and lakehouse environments.
- Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure compliance with data quality, security, and privacy standards.
- Optimize and tune SQL queries and database performance for both relational and NoSQL systems.
- Develop and manage Azure cloud data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Databricks.
- Write efficient, reusable code using Python, Scala, or similar languages to support data processing and transformation.
- Lead data migration projects, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver robust data solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance.
