As a 3D Cartoon Animator, you will be responsible for creating visually engaging and captivating animations for various projects, including animated films, TV shows, advertisements, and more. You will use your expertise in 3D animation techniques, character design, and storytelling to bring characters and environments to life.

Animation Creation:

Develop high-quality 3D character animations, including movement, facial expressions, and lip-syncing, to convey emotions, actions, and interactions.
Collaborate with the team to understand the project's requirements and bring characters and stories to life through animation.
Use industry-standard software (such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, or equivalent) to create smooth and realistic character movements and actions.

Character and Asset Rigging:

Create and maintain character rigs and animation control systems to facilitate efficient animation workflow.
Rig characters with appropriate controls for body parts, facial expressions, and other deformations necessary for smooth animation.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with the team to understand project goals and provide creative input.
Communicate effectively to understand feedback and implement changes in a timely manner.

Quality Control:

Conduct regular reviews and iterations on animation sequences to ensure high-quality output.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to animations and rigs.

Industry Awareness:

Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and emerging technologies related to 3D animation.
Continuously improve skills through self-learning, attending workshops, and training programs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Animation, Computer Graphics, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Proven experience as a 3D animator, with a portfolio or demo reel showcasing your work.
Proficiency in 3D animation software such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of character animation principles, including timing, weight, and posing.
Familiarity with rigging and skinning techniques to create flexible and realistic character animation.
Excellent artistic and storytelling skills to bring characters and narratives to life.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, take direction, and provide creative input.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to animation.
Good time management skills to meet project deadlines.
