- Planning of Raw Material and other imported items for smooth production and timely order fulfilment.
- Insure the proper inventory planning as per the production.
- Strongly monitor inventory levels and take strict measure & control inventory cost.
- Reduce the lead time of delivery by implement efficient inventory management.
- Responsible for efficient clearance and warehousing of imported material, for avoiding unnecessary expenses.
- Design the layout for warehouse to insure maximum utilization of warehouse space.
- Insure the proper stacking at warehouse as per the SOP’s.
- To plan, implement, monitor and logistic activities & reduce logistic cost.
- Liaison with clearing agent & arrange all related document for the timely clearance of import consignment from port.
- Managing key sourcing and services contracts pertaining to the supply chain operations of the business.
- Participate in the development of the supply chain strategy for the organizations.
- Design and implement the supply chain strategy to interlink all concerned department.
- Develop the proper and improved SOP’s for each and every process follow under supply chain department.
- Establishing and achieving departmental objectives, defining roles and responsibilities to all team members.
- Implement a best labor utilization plan and improve the efficiency of the team members.
- Understanding and keeping update with local and international regulations for local procurement and imports.
- Management of procurement, imports and logistic for sub-departments of the company while ensuring compliance with company’s policies and procedures.
- Handled nationwide procurement and logistic contracts for various ongoing projects.
- Identifying area of the potential cost savings in all procurement and logistic activities.
- Obtaining quotations and processing of purchase orders of finished goods, raw materials, mess Items, fixed assets is registered and store spares etc.
- Responsible to ensure monthly reconciliation of supplier ledger.
- Building strong working relationships with internal partners and with suppliers.
- Vendor assessment as per define SOP and target to develop best vendors/ suppliers.
- Initial supplier development and cost saving programs for reducing landed cost.
- Overall reduce the cost of the processes and transportation.
- Cutting any waste and unnecessary costs to build a streamlined process and fast production time.
- Meet and visit the site of vendor’s time to time for developing relationship and know about the changes in vendor / supplies set up.
- Increase vendor engagement and increase technical support of vendors in developing quality products/supplies
- Implement flawless processes for replenishment of critical production items.
- Provide management reports daily/ weekly/ monthly / quarterly or as per demand.
- Tracking and deployment of KPI’s and apply different analysis, active contracts vendor management, supplied performance evaluation.
- Keep the record of all purchase orders payments for analysis.
- Maintaining record keeping of all purchase documents as per ISO standard.
- Managing complete bidding process starting from pre-award activities including pre-qualification of supplier, request for proposals, competitive analysis, negotiation session, preparation of contract/order, as well as post-award activities expediting, notices etc.
- Carry out supplier selection, evaluations and conduct supplier support visits on periodic basis for the development of vendors, continually of supply operations and to ensure compliance of various policies.
- Develop multiple vendor for smooth supplies.
- During vendor qualification make sure that vender has capability to deliver the quality supplies on time and can meet the abnormal condition requirements.
