Being a site engineer requires a mixture of personal, technical and physical abilities.
Reporting progress to management and consultants via phone calls, SMS, written reports and presentations.
Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
Main source of technical advice and quality control for everyone working on it.
A site engineer will plan the work to be done and organize things so that deadlines are met. If technical or any other problems crop up, it is up to the site engineer to resolve them.
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment, production and installation activities on site.
Monitors correct curing operations.
Checks the sampling operations (when required).
Reviews the laboratory examination results.
Checks the material quality, dry density, moisture content, compression strength test.
Make sure to follow/apply shuttering procedures by sub-contractors to maintain quality of products
Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan according to requirements.
Coordination with the Government departments for the demand, supply and recovery-related inquiries.
Any development work for the growth of the organization
Any duties assigned by the management according to the requirements
