About Role

We are looking for Android developers that have a passion for design and developing cutting edge Android app interfaces, front-end architecture and related components. You will be working directly with a cross-functional engineering team comprising of front-end developers, back-end engineers and data science engineers in building Shahi Sawari's new products and services. Key Responsibilities

Deliver across the entire app life cycle – concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to stores and support
Ensure the integrity of user and device data
Integrate with 3rd party services and tools to achieve user flows, generate insights and analytics on user behavior and app performance
Build rich user experiences in the Rider, Driver and other consumer-facing applications that make the user's interaction clear and intuitive

Key Requirements

2 to 5 years experience delivering quality, at scale consumer-facing Android apps available in the Play Store
Fluency with Java and RxJava; knowledge of Kotlin is a plus - Strong object-oriented programming, and a good knowledge of pattern and anti-pattern design
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning - Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications - Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
Experience with app profiling, code versioning, deployment and continuous integration
