- Responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of computer systems and required applications
- Responsible for maintaining servers and workstations
- Configuring hardware and software, setting up peripherals such as printers & scanners, repairing equipment, and providing daily support for computer network users
- Maintain Inventory of IT and Network related equipment
- Sets up and configures desktop computers, peripherals, and accounts
- Provide on-site and remote (i.e. via phone, email or remote access) technical support to users by diagnosing and correcting problems
- Receive, log and track all requests from users related to network, printing and PC issues
- To interact with users to identify computer related needs and provide appropriate software/hardware support applicable to those needs.
- Provide instruction to staff on the use of computer applications and systems when needed
- Network Cabling, Installation and Troubleshooting
- Maintain Connectivity of different nodes
- Monitor and test PC performance and provide PC performance statistics and reports
- Ensure routine backups of servers and end-user data
- Assist in development and maintenance of Website
- Generate reports as requested by the Line Manager
- Liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office & Microsoft Windows Platform in a domain environment.
- Knowledge of Software / Hardware Installations and Troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Network Cabling and Network Tools and Equipment
- Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides
- Ability to troubleshoot PC related hardware/software issues; such as Printers, Scanners etc.
- Ability to follow instructions and work autonomously
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Good diagnostic skills
- Self-motivated and directed.
- Knowledge of Graphics Designing will be advantage
- Knowledge of setting up DVRs and CCTV Cameras will be an added advantage
