Overall, Purpose/Broad Function
The main aim is to support the Project Coordinator MMS Pakistan, Provincial Coordinator Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), National Program Coordinator and Program Lead i.e., National Program Officer at Country Office level to implement, monitor and report on AMMI [Advancing Maternal health through Multiple Micronutrient supplementation (MMS) Implementation Research in Pakistan] Project being implemented in Swabi District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and building on Nutrition International’s ongoing collaboration with provincial and district health officials to support their maternal nutrition program. The District Coordinator (DC) will lead project implementation under direct supervision and technical support by NI’s Project Coordinator MMS Pakistan with regards to monitoring of supply of goods and services; the work of consultants, grantee organizations and suppliers, assuring the quality-of-service delivery, and recommending improvements as required. The DC will work closely with the Government at district levels and other key stakeholders to ensure Government engagement and leadership at all levels.
