Ensure timely purchase of items and equipments, ongoing follow-up, identifying and screening procurement suppliers, negotiating terms and conducts all activities that ensure smooth departmental operations.
Plan the purchase activities keeping in view the sources, their location and cost effectiveness
Analyze market and delivery system in order to assess present and future trends. (as & when required)
Manage vendor selection, registration and performance evaluation as per hospital policy
Arrange all supplies/equipment in a timely manner well before the deadline.
Take necessary actions in case of non-availability of item, price change or change of specifications
Follow-up with suppliers to expedite the pending purchase order
Ensure to maintain strong coordination, feedback and follow-up system with all stake holders at all levels
