Senior SQA Engineer (Performance / Automation Testing)

Responsibilities:

Design, Modify & Maintain automation framework wherever required
Designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions as and when required.
Review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g., defect densities and open defect counts.)
Develop, adjust sanity and regression test suites after each sprint release.
Conducting tests before each sprint release to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs.
Design Performance Test Scripts for enterprise applications based on Requirements
Participate in Performance bottleneck analysis and fixes
Perform Performance Engineering & Performance Improvement activities
Run and manage performance tests
Communicate progress and issues through regular Status Reports
Collaborate with Business/ Application teams to improve system performance
Assume primary responsibility as Performance Testing SPOC

Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Master’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
3-4 years of related experience.
Hands on experience of JMeter, Jira, API testing tools, Load balancing, and performance testing tools.
Should have an experience of Python testing.
Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Work Load Design, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management & Configuration Management.
Expertise in API testing using POSTMAN tool & Newman
Expertise in POSTMAN Automation and POSTMAN monitoring
Hands-on exposure in Manual testing & good understanding of testing methodologies
Expertise in Jira & Github and Jenkins
Good understanding of agile methodologies
Experience in Web/mobile application automation testing using Selenium/Appium will be an additional plus
Good understanding of OOPS programming concepts
Passion for programming, learning new technologies
Expertise in Performance Testing tools using Jmeter / Performance center.
Execute Benchmark, load, stress, endurance, and other non-functional tests. Monitor application logs to determine system behavior. Address all technical issues; facilitate the resolution and necessary follow-up with Development and other cross-functional departments.
Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection, and DB Parameters and DB Reports to verify the performance of the applications.
Generate performance graphs, session reports, and other related documentation required for validation and analysis.
Publish results and receive appropriate signoff. Prepare detailed status reports, and monitoring of all defects and issues.
Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problem in the application.
Strong problem-solving skills and very good time management skills.
