• Align 100% with company Business Plan & Marketing strategy on short-, medium- & long-term basis and prepare annual marketing plan including sales numbers, events, collection launchings, external (foreign)/ internal travel plan and covering all aspects of marketing and present to CEO for review and approval.
  • Assign plans & targets to individual teams with appropriate directions and instructions on quarterly basis.
  • System adherence (ERP / any other digital platform) and fetch reports from reporting teams that includes analysis such as sales volume, potential sales, areas of client base expansion and others, to track progress against assigned plans & targets.
  • Create a program to monitor reports weekly/ monthly/ quarterly basis and after reviewing analytical reports, review and revise (if required) plans for next quarter and accordingly assign to reporting teams.
  • Develop annual budget in collaboration with Financial Planning & Budgeting department and get it approved from CEO.
  • Review P&L and budget variance analysis with the budgeting team on weekly basis to closely monitor spending and accordingly adjust forecasts.
  • Review monthly budget variance report and discuss with CEO with valid reasoning whist getting the HOD’s of Marketing to review same on a weekly basis and report.
  • A mechanism to review the performance of marketing staff at any given time to ensure they are consistently and effectively targeting assign clients to generate new orders.
  • Develop a new customer onboarding strategy incorporating targeted sales values
  • Generate new clients through personal reference base.
  • Represent organization in international forum, trade shows and exhibitions with a clear objective of developing new sales channels and clients.
  • Perform excellent international corporate networking that results in client development, sales numbers and target achievement.
  • Customer Relationship Management and maintenance of CRI - Customer Relationship Index focusing primary and secondary contacts and web of influence.
  • Critically monitor each order booking to validate its costing, fabric sourcing, price offering.
  • Critically review costing structure of every new order.
  • Approve prices for each quotation prepared by marketing staff before it is presented to clients.
  • Achieve targeted profitability (EPM) by ensuring profitability in each individual order booking.
  • Review reports submitted by merchandisers to analyze and approve dispatch targets for every month.
  • Lead Marketing and Mechanizing team to ensure bulk and sample OTD while achieving monthly dispatch targets and develop a systematic mechanism to trace deliveries.
  • Lead Marketing and Mechanizing team to ensure that orders are timely initiated and required trouble shootings are effectively done in minimum possible time to avoid damages / financial claims.
  • Ensure through concerned teams that customer’s compliance and testing requirements are fully met.
  • Implement a mechanism/criterion to calculate EIM score and ensure products designed and launched are within acceptable EIM scores (Environmental Impact Measure).
  • Give appropriate direction to research team to enable them to conduct research in the right dimensions.
  • Thoroughly review their research work to finalize concepts & themes for the upcoming seasons.
  • Critically review trend boards, mood boards, product mix, fabric selections, product selections, collection ready rate, packing designs before finalizing and launching any collection let it be seasonal of buyer.
  • Review catalogs esthetically and technically before their launching or printing to give approvals.
  • Ensure effective coordination and flow of information among marketing, merchandising, product development fabric sourcing and procurement teams through right coaching & direction.
  • Guide everyone on speed of service and make sure every understand the required urgency in PD process to grab customer attention and satisfaction.
  • Lead all concerned teams to ensure accurate samples are developed in ideal time in all cases.
