The Employer

Are you an experienced Auto Electrician? We would love you to join our team! We offer an industry-leading quality of service to the motor trade, public authority, vehicle rental and contract hire sectors as well as private companies throughout the UK. Having forged long-term links with the leading suppliers of van aftermarket products, we supply and fit accessories in line with bespoke customer requirements. Whilst primarily based at our installation centres throughout Scotland we also undertake some mobile installations at our fleet customers’ premises in Scotland and this would form part of your job role.

Leadership Role

The Job

Commissioning of electrical units and systems in commercial vehicles
Undertaking a wide range of electrical installations including inverters, battery charging systems, tow bars, work lamps, internal lighting, reverse camera systems
Fault finding and diagnostics
Adherence to health and safety rules and legislation
Liaise with customers to support product selection
Following technical drawings and specification sheets
The ability to use your own initiative to complete jobs to a required timescale
Provide peer support where required
maintain a safe and tidy working environment at all times
Additional work as required by business needs/customer demand

Ideal Candidate

You have at least 1 year experience including solid experience in a similar role within Aviation, Transport & Logistics.
You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
You are willing to undertake 0-30% travel.
Driving License (Essential)
Demonstrable experience in a similar role
