Technical Sales Support Officer

The Sales Support Officer will be responsible for conducting solar project feasibility studies, drafting designs for solar systems, creating BoS/BoQ, and providing preliminary pricing of complete solutions.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and as a team member, as well as the desire and innovative mindset to operate as an important contributor within a fast-pace, growing company with nationwide presence. The position is a permanent role.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Perform feasibility surveys of potential sites with respect to building measurements, solar trajectory, shading, and power output calculations
Help analyze solar and building load analysis data in assessing project feasibility
Document the obtained survey data
Draft the individual site specific solar system designs and documentation, with a focus on safety, quality, speed of execution, and cost effectiveness of offered solution
Understand the key electrical components
Preparing documentation/ proposals for specialized projects and tenders.
Develop and provide technical data, tools and guides to help the Sales team
Administrative tasks including but not limited to filing reports or presenting sales team with necessary documents

Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/ Power/ Energy Engineering from an accredited
institution with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Perferred)
PEC license registration, or the ability to get licensed, is a plus
Preferred solar industry experience of 3-4 years in Engineering and/or Installation roles. (5-20
KW projects for B2C, 20 to 100 KW for B2B)
Firm knowledge of PV systems including, modules, inverters, and the BOS (balance of system) is preferred.
Sound ability to read blueprints and interpret architectural, mechanical, structural and electrical plans and details
Be able to operate basic electrical instrumentation and measurement devices such as multimeters, clamp meters, etc.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Autodesk AutoCAD, Trimble SketchUp, PVSyst,
Helioscope, and/or similar industry computer applications
Strong math skills, especially in geometry and spatial planning
Excellent organizational skills: proficient with spreadsheets and data management
An excitement for innovation, problem solving, and project development - a desire to create
something new from zero
Ability to rapidly learn and assimilate new information and techniques
Be available for out-of-station travel for work assignments
Should be comfortable with heights, constricted spaces, and outdoor environments
