The Insight Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining carrier relationships, offering custom transportation solutions, and delivering exceptional services

This position performs a strategic role in enhancing the Sales function's capacity to create technical and execution capabilities while methodically prioritizing and gathering supply chain business requirements. 

Job Description:

  • Up-to-date sales strategy: Establishes & defines marketing plans & Strategies for different markets where logistics services are required. ·        
  • Lead a team of sales operations professionals: Develops and implements sales processes for sales teams, specialists, and other representatives. Creates opportunities to practice and teach customer service, sales, marketing, and effective communication to Supportive Sales Executives. ·        
  • Manage CRM data:  Maintains records of customer details. Checking countries’ legal requirements to make sure all the appropriate documentation (e.g. insurance and customs forms) is filled out. ·        
  • Perform sales forecasting: Developed and maintain the estimated forecasting of the sales on a quarterly basis. Promotes the company's existing services where logistics services are required. ·        
  • Customer Satisfaction and on-time tracking:
  • Remain engaged with customers to maintain relationships and follow up on clients’ communications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Oversees the movement of clients’ goods, ensuring that they are picked up, transported, and delivered on time to their satisfaction.
  • Communicate with the operations team to track loads as well as clients/prospects to provide them with up-to-date information. Considering and scheduling along with the coordination of the operation team, the most effective route for freight and keeping the client in Loop.
  • Perform sales forecasting:
  • Developed and maintain the estimated forecasting of the sales on a quarterly basis.
  • Promotes the company's existing services where logistics services are required.

Up to date on Industry development:

  • Up-Stay current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, courses, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks.
  • Must be current and maintains personal knowledge of market freight rates to aid them in determining a price to pay trucks and charge shippers’ professional networks. Activities: ·

Job Qualification ·        

Education: MBA/BBA in Supply Chain Management, or a related field. ·        

Experience: 3-5 years experience in freight forwarding/logistics/transportation industry required. Proven working experience in B2B sales will be a plus point. ·         Knowledge: Inbound/outbound sales, Sales Prospecting Advanced Techniques, familiarity with MS Office applications, and other logistics applications.
