Implemented a streamlined Azure policies pipeline via Terraform for the security team to update Azure policies.
Fully automated a self-service portal for creating users, syncing with on-prem Active Directory, syncing with Azure, and creating corresponding resource groups.
Worked with a public cloud team and security to review existing the security framework and enhance with NIST compliant policies.
Investigated slow SQL queries for AWS Aurora and improved performance by adding, modifying indexes, and refactoring SQL queries.
Made system architecture recommendations to improve slower velocity concerns with AWS serverless implementation.
Added features for the core accounting system in dev/prod with Typescript and AWS lambda functions.
Fixed bugs with AWS Code pipeline, Slack integrations, Swagger definitions, and CI/CD processes.
Built out VM infrastructure by creating and maintaining Chef cookbooks (monitoring, networking, app servers, databases, APIs, etc).
