Job brief
We are looking for an HR executive who can handle a variety of personnel related administrative duties, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of all queries. You will also support our daily HR activities and in coordinating HR policies, processes and relevant documents.
An ideal candidate for the human resources position holds an academic HR background. Familiarity with our industry is also an advantage. For this role, you should be able to work autonomously and do more complex HR duties, like posting job ads, coordinating interviews and contacting candidates. Following our training sessions, you will also be able to assist HR managers in the life cycle recruitment (e.g. onboarding process for new hires and candidate sourcing.)
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our HR department is organized and operates to attract, hire and maintain our employees.
Human Resources Assistant Job Duties:
Welcomes new employees to the organization by conducting orientation.
Provides payroll information by collecting time and attendance records.
Submits employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data.
Design compensation and benefits packages
Implement performance review procedures (e.g. quarterly/annual and 360° evaluations)
Develop fair HR policies and ensure employees understand and comply with them
Implement effective sourcing, screening and interviewing techniques
Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees
Monitor HR department’s budget
Act as the point of contact regarding labor legislation issues
Manage employees’ grievances
Create and run referral bonus programs
Measure employee retention and turnover rates
Oversee daily operations of the HR department
