Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a timely and accurate database of client contact data.
  • Conduct research to identify potential prospects and follow up on contact lists
  • Uncover customer and prospect interest to develop into a solid sales opportunity
  • Report to management on lead follow-up, ensuring leads are tracked correctly and consistently across the sales team
  • Engage clients and prospects via phone to qualify them as opportunities and assign them to the appropriate owner(s)
  • Demonstrate technical and application knowledge to provide prompt, accurate answers and successfully qualify the leads.
  • Collect and provide constructive feedback to cross functional lead sources to drive continuous improvement of process
  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual lead conversion quotas
  • Collaborate with other Lead Qualification team members to continue to improve lead program and processes
  • Develop an understanding of competitive products
  • Develop customer quotations
  • Follow up with leads to qualify them to be handed off to the sales team – leads include purchased leads, webinar attendees to the live session and replay versions, customer referrals and older leads within the existing database
  • Manage live chat function on website for new interested prospects, handing off qualified leads to the sales team
  • Provide succinct follow-up via phone and email

Requirements:

  • 1-year lead generation experience, customer-facing
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required
  • Ability to work independently
  • Meticulous attention to detail, takes ownership, organized
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bachelor s degree preferred but will accept equivalent experience in the field
  • Skilled in application and market-specific questioning techniques that uncover new sales opportunities
  • Proven ability at cross-selling and up-selling
  • Ability to answer technical questions relating to the product
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong phone presence
