Technical

  • Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance.
  • Perform local and remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by users.
  • Walk the customer through the problem-solving process.
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
  • Provide accurate information on IT products or services.
  • Record issues, events and problems and their resolution in Gitlab.
  • Follow-up and update inventory.
  • Pass on any feedback or suggestions by users across support team.
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures and technologies.
  • Provide training to National & International staff on software.
  • Thorough understanding of network, routing protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Coordinates system development, installation and implementation and troubles shoot user support requests.
  • Provide support of Windows and Linux based systems including installation, support and troubleshooting.

Administrative

  • Manage office supplies stock and place orders
  • Prepare regular reports on expenses and office budgets
  • Maintain and update company databases
  • Organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents
  • Answer queries by employees and clients
  • Update office policies as needed
  • Maintain a company calendar and schedule appointments
  • Book meeting rooms as required
  • Distribute and store correspondence (e.g. letters, emails and packages)
  • Prepare reports and presentations with statistical data, as assigned
  • Arrange travel and accommodations
  • Schedule in-house and external events

Requirements

  • Tech savvy.
  • Generalist.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Proficiency in English & excellent communication skills.
  • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered.
  • Solid knowledge of office procedures
  • Attention to detail
  • A reliable, hard-working, honest and enthusiastic individual with a can-do attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving and reasoning ability.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle a diverse workload.
