Technical Writer / Content Strategist

About the Position!

The Technical Writer and Content Strategist is responsible for the creation and maintenance of content in company’s Knowledge Base for our product. This role involves coordinating with several different teams ranging from product to marketing, to support department in order to provide the best and most accurate possible content.

The Technical Writer will also be responsible for managing knowledge base content in the contextual help panel as well as contributing to the research and strategy of learning content.

What will you do?

Job Role and Duties:

· Create and maintain product documentation/user manuals/help guides for customers within the Knowledge Base and Contextual Help panels through a content management system

· Collaborate with other teams within Soloinsight to help ensure that new product updates are covered

· Accommodate internal requests by responding to and managing requests in the system

· Smoothly move through the planning, writing and editing process to ensure timely delivery

· Ensure the Knowledge Base information is clear, fast to access and meaningful to best assist the clients with any training needs.

· Ensure regular reviews of the content and reports to identify trends and other areas with improvement needed

· Manage and respond to feedback left on content

· Contribute to discovering and testing the best way to present information to the target audience.

What are we looking for?

Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelors Degree (BS preferred)

· Strong writing, editing and English language skills

· A passion for creating great content

· Ability to break down complex concepts into engaging and easily digestible content

· A good understanding of how language choice affects the intended audience

· Strong time management and prioritization skills

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

· Results-driven

About Schedule!

Working Hours and Schedule:

40 plus hours per week - Must be willing to work overlapping hours as needed

5 days a week (Rotating)
