Data Researcher I, FIG - Bank Branch Data Management

The Role: As a Data Researcher in FIG - Bank Branch Data Management you will be responsible for reviewing documents from regulatory authorities, extracting information about branches of banks, number of branches, deposits of new branches and standardizing the extracted information.

The Location: This position is based in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Responsibilities:

• Collect essential intelligence and data tracked by the FIG – Bank Branch Data Management Department
• Reviewing Regulatory Reports from authorities, Bank websites, and News articles to extract information about branches of banks, number of branches, deposits of new branches
• Standardizing extracted information
• Utilizing Excel to compare extracted information from multiple sources
• Reviewing feedback on abstracts/tasks to minimize errors and help establish refined procedures and processes to improve accuracy.
• Keeping up-to-date in knowledge of content sets and building industry knowledge is vital for career growth
• Responding to queries and requests from various client departments to collect data in timely manner, updating maintaining and running reports to generate useful audits for your department and providing input and ideas for new collection methods and product improvements related to the covered data all falls under your responsibilities.
• Troubleshoot problems or issues and provide significant feedback to co-workers
• Build and maintain relationships with contacts from other departments to actively track information on the covered content sets.
• Fixing errors as per quality feedback within specified time and report back after completion
• Participate in team activities and company wide events (Example: Award functions, Townhall, Etc)
• Demonstrating aptitude for learning new technologies
• Meeting all assigned Benchmarks and goals with the highest level of quality
• Ensuring that adequate training is received for satisfactory delivery on process workflow (Ensure all the process and workflow related trainings are taken effectively)
• Understanding and have good working knowledge of work tools (Stay up to date with adequate understanding and knowledge of workflow tools)
• Staying abreast of updated guidelines and policies
• Delivering as per pre-defined team targets

Working Shift: This is a rotational shift job. You should be flexible working in all three shifts (morning, evening & night).

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

• BBA (hons), MBA, B.COM, M.COM
• Fresh Graduate

Preferred Qualification:

We are looking for an individual with basic to advance level of Microsoft Excel knowledge.
