Key Roles / Responsibilities:
This position serves a key role in helping S&P mature our engineering team and Agile practices. As an experienced Scrum Master, you will be responsible for driving technology projects and delivering project outcomes negotiated with the product owners. You will use appropriate Agile methodologies to ensure work is sufficiently defined, stays on schedule, and is free from impediments.

Job Responsibilities:
Provide insight on best practices for high performing teams in the delivery of technology-related projects, ensuring team actions are aligned with project goals
Lead technical delivery on team(s) and projects using agile methods
Document and manage deliverable milestones and risks; communicating out and up to stakeholders with focus on continuous improvement
Lead daily scrum meetings, iteration reviews, and maintain backlogs
Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to prioritize and deliver work
Participate in the scoping of proposed enhancements
Work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, User Experience, and Engineering to turn business requirements into well-defined user stories and sprints
Mitigate risk while managing tasks, resources, and changes
Encourage a continuous learning environment to strengthen the team's understanding of Agile/Scrum concepts and principles as they relate to technical capabilities.
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst or Scrum Master in a technical, data driven environment
Hands on experience working in a team using agile frameworks. Scrum preferred.
Experience leading scrum teams preferred.
Proven ability to deliver projects from start to finish, working collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders
Self-starter that can think critically and is proactive in removing impediments to keep the team moving towards their sprint goals
An active listener with strong written and verbal communication skills
Analysis skills that include basic database analysis (understanding table structures, and creating/executing queries in SQL)
Thought leader and embrace continuous learning
Communication skills (presentational, active listening, ability to build consensus, buy-in and support across functions and at all levels)
Experience working in Jira/Azure DevOps or comparable systems
Scrum master certifications nice to have
