We are looking for an experienced Email Network Administrator to configure and maintain an enterprise level large volume email marketing network. This position will work on complex technical problems and will provide highly innovative solutions.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Configure and maintain Domains, IP Addresses and MTA configurations to meet and exceed business needs and industry best practices for high volume email marketing networks / senders.
- Configure and maintain MX records, forward DNS, reverse DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC records to industry best practices
- Setup maintain and monitor postmaster tools and feedback loops per IP / sending domain
- Setup and maintain mail classes and configurations in MTA (Power MTA)
- Document and Q/A all configurations across entire network
- Monitor delivery, inbox placement and IP sender reputation scores
- Research and deploy industry best operating practices, tools and software
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and build processes to prevent high volume mail delivery issues
- Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize MTA, Headers and processes to ensure inbox placement
- Perform general system administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting duties
- Maintain integrity of the network and server security
- Coordinate with operational teams to support projects, troubleshoot issues
- Review and prepare documentation for systems and tests
WHAT YOU HAVE:
- A passion for excellence

- An Obsession with optimization
- 5+ years of experience with Linux and/or Windows Mail and Web Server configurations; configuring / binding IPs to servers, configuring MX records, setting up and configuring Forward DNS and Reverse DNS records
- 2+ Years’ experience with SPF, DKIM, DMARC records
- High availably in the event of network outrages
- Extremely detailed oriented
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to deliver a high quality of work with very few errors
- Ability to document processes (Standard Operating Procedures / Process Flows)
- Ability to handle many projects typically over 20 production domains and mail streams at once / multi task
- Fluent in English
