Technical Skill Set Required

Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals including algorithms and data structures.
2+ years of experience in software engineering
Experience with either/or: PHP, Node.js, Laravel; Python, Django and Flask.
CMS's Like WordPress, Shopify, WIX, Magento and Squarespace etc.
Familiarity with ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries.
Mastery-level understanding of REST and API development.
Very strong skills with SQL. Experience with other types of databases (MongoDB, graph, etc.) is also preferred.
Well-versed in abstraction, encapsulation, polymorphism, inheritance, closures, and other commonly applied principles.
Code management (CI/CD) (BitBucket, GitHub etc.)

Soft Skills Required

Good multilingual communication and expression skills.
Creativity and innovative drive.
Willing to learn and explore new technologies.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Work with the Design Team & PM to create new products and services.
Support product development by creating backend code and scripts to work with frontend development.
You must be able to write clean code with comprehensive end-to-end API error, exception handling and database performance.
Perform other hands-on research and development activities as required
Develop & deliver processes & procedures based on software development best practices.
Working closely with other team members to produce project deliverables on time
Reporting on project progress to the team as required
