Cloud Architect

You have a leading role in projects with strong client exposure.

• You are responsible for functional and technical guidance over the whole project or application lifecycle, and you act as a client-facing lead developer.
• You drive sales opportunities within your area of responsibility.
• You know future developments in several applications and/or technologies and you are seen as subject matter expert within your unit and beyond.
•  Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Cloud and Infrastructure
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Google Cloud Platform
• At least 3+ years of experience in Data Architecture and management (Catalog, Modelings, ETL, Data warehousing trends) – Data Warehouses, Data Lake, RDBMS, Data Governance
• Understand the current architecture and define a roadmap to achieve target Data architecture
• Hands-on experience on native services like Big Query, Cloud Spanner, DataFlow. Cloud Storage, Cloud Data Fusion, Cloud Functions, Cloud Composer.
•  Experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly distributed global cloud-based systems. Experience in network infrastructure, security, data, or application development.
• Strong understanding of GCP environment (PaaS, IaaS) and experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, cloud migration deployments and road maps.
• Knowledge of technology solutions and ability to learn and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
• Understanding of large-scale computing solutions and the enterprise technology buying and evaluation process.
• Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and achieve broader organizational goals.
• Define data storage strategy across the regions to ensure compliance with privacy and information security requirements
• Experienced in deployment and configuration of virtual cloud data centers including tenancies, virtual networks, firewalls, load balancers
• Extensive automation skills based on Terraform and Ansible and Salt stack
• Programming skills including Bash, Python, Java
• Experience writing software that uses Cloud SDKs to manage infrastructure as code
• Robust experience with Linux distributions (Redhat, Oracle Linux, Debian, Ubuntu etc.)
• Networking skills covering DNS, VPNs, WANs, LANs, switching, load balancers and firewalls
• Cloud and systems security skills and knowledge· Skills in cloud operations including availability/resource monitoring, consumption monitoring
• Management of cloud servers including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting
• Experienced in GCP Compute, App Engine, Identity Security, Cloud Storage, Google Container Engine (GCE) Kubernetes Engine, Databases, Networking, Google Kubernetes (GKE), Google Cloud Build (GCB), Stack driver.
•  A good understanding of preferably Google Cloud Source Repositories (GCSR), Git & BitBucket
• Systems monitoring with vendor provided and open-source monitoring platforms
• Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance, and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based platforms
•  Experienced in Scrum breaking and Agile methodology along with SDDC and SDLC.
•  Lead cloud solution and scoping to generate estimates and approaches for proposals and SOWs for customers.
• Through a formal sales process, work with the Sales team to identify and qualify Google Cloud Platform (GCP) opportunities.
•  Experience on at least 2 sizable GCP projects as an Architect, preferably both migration and new setup.

API Development:

• Minimum 1 year of Google Cloud Platform’s Apigee EDGE platform and API development experience through the entire Software Development Lifecycle Process.
• Experienced in Google Cloud Service Fundamentals
•  Implementation and delivery experience for at least 1 Google Cloud Platform Apigee EDGE client solution and preferably Apigee Certified
• Responsible for the development of cloud native APIs including design, build, and test on Google Cloud Platform’s (GCP) Apigee EDGE API management platform.
• Troubleshooting & Support
•  Focus on evolving and optimizing a secure, scalable, enterprise-grade Kafka deployment topology.
• Providing production support and troubleshooting, enabling multi-datacenter integration.
