Business Development Manager

SZABIST Islamabad is looking to fill a position of Business Development Manager in Predictive Analytics Lab under Higher Education Commission's Project titled "Establishment of National Centre in Big Data & Cloud Computing".

This position is extendable on contract basis subject to satisfactory performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To explore industrial linkages and transform research project findings into industrial solutions.
Develop business development strategy focused on financial gain and also explore business development opportunities.
Communicate new product developments to engage with prospective clients.
Manage the development of marketing literature and write quarterly reports on the execution business development plan.
Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
Arrange business meetings and conduct workshops and training with prospective clients.
Promote the SZABIST products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Develop entry level staff into valuable sales people.
