Reporting directly to the Founding Member of TAMKEEN, this position is responsible for providing accounting and finance support for a non-profit organization.
After an initial period of orientation, successful candidates will be able to conduct most work from their own home.
Duties include but are not limited to.
Competence in Accounting Function and problem-solving skills are required. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is needed.

Role & Responsibilities:

Setting up (initially) a manual accounting system with related documentation on Policy and Procedures.
Prepare the organization’s monthly financial statements and analysis thereof.
Maintain General Ledger (and related sub-ledgers), bank and account reconciliations, and preparation and posting (after approval) all journal entries.
Assist independent auditors during annual audit.
