Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Role As the Junior QA Engineer, you will report to the QA Manager in Pakistan.
On a daily basis you will be part of performing manual testing of the oomi core application as well as you will be communicating within and outside the team focusing mainly on test results and sharing timely reports.

Responsibilities:

Analyze the requirements and make sure they adhere to oomi's standards o Prepare a questions/query list and make sure no aspect of the requirements is vague
Develop efficient test cases and test plans
Perform Manual, Automated, Cross Browser and Performance Testing
Perform Acceptance/Smoke, Exploratory, Regression and Re Testing
Bug Reporting on JIRA
Prepare test status reports
Work in a team environment

Qualifications / Skills / Experience Requirements

At least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science
1 years’ technical experience in a QA role
Strong focus on Functional Black Box testing
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
Understanding of the software bug life cycle
Experience working within Agile development teams
Able to write and execute test plans & test cases in a fast-paced development environment
Have a knack to break products in a repeatable way
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work accordingly
Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong sense of responsibility
