Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that collection targets are met as per the collection strategy.
  2. Ensure daily follow-up from clients and maintains its log.
  3. Ensure strong liaising with Branch Manager and Loan Officers for prompt collections
  4. Undertake regular and frequent calls, site visits, follow-ups to implement remedial strategies and action plans agreed with line.
  5. Initiate demand and reminding letters to all defaulting customers and review all credit files for proper documentation and monitoring.
  6. Follow up on major debtor’s accounts assigned to ensure collections through calls, demand notices or any other appropriate means.
  7. Prompt identification of unauthorized balances and follow up with branches on early warning and remedial action on newly created PDOs in the branch.
  8. Monitoring and recovering of PDO’s /Expired CMB loans in the branches.
  9. Carry out any other tasks assigned by line manager.
  10. Incumbent shall be responsible to adhere by Telenor Microfinance Bank Behaviors & Values in all aspects of his/her work conduct.
  11. Ensure that a culture of risk and compliance management is implemented, and institute performance measures tied to individual risk and compliance responsibilities.
