Qualification & Experience:

Education: 

  • Candidate must have a minimum qualification of Masters in Business Administration from reputable university with foreign degree /qualification will be preferred.

Experience:

  • Candidate must have progressivity /relevant post qualification experience of atleast 20 years.
  • High-profile spokesperson with strong network C-level executives. Experience with proven track record is desirable.
  • Candidate must have proven record of successful relationship with both Provincial and Federal government C-level executives. Particularly with Sindh government.
  • Someone who have been a successful corporate executive and is now looking for a challenging "Passionate" experience in the social sector, with the cause to Payback and respond to the need, to enable the less fortunate to stand on their feet enabling them to look after their families health education and livelihood through employability.
  • Salary Range: Market Competitive with other benefits but ideally someone who is not looking this positon for the money alone and his primarily for the passion to Give back to society.

Position Summary

  • The CEO will work closely with Board and in partnership with the senior team to develop a clear strategic plan and long term vision for the organization.
  • He shall also be responsible for leading the Programme of change to reform the company to make it more efficient, effective and responsive to its stakeholders.
  • He shall be responsible for delivering effective and efficient management across all aspect of the company.
  • He shall be responsible for building on the existing resource to deliver sustained growth without diluting the original concept of the company.

Leadership:

Fundraising:

  • Develop high performing fundraising strategies which are cost effectively implemented by the Fundraising Head and their team.
  • Ensure fundraising goals are achieved.

Donor Engagement and partnership building:

  • Responsible for developing and implementing engagement and fundraising strategies or enhance and grow revenue with assigned workplace accounts and donors.
  • Build network with donor and partner organizations to seek long term support.
  • Streamline departmental activities with all stakeholders for implementation of marketing plans.
  • Development and implementation of Hunar communications strategies across the organization.

Communications:

  • Ensure there is a clear communication strategy which maximizes opportunities for advocacy, fundraising and builds Hunar Foundation brand reputation.

Financial Planning and Budget Management:

  • Produce cost-effective budgets to achieve action plans.
  • Develop and maintain income and expenditure tracking and evaluation systems.
  • Ensure the Fundraising Department is kept within budget.

Reputation:

  • Develop and maintain a strong positive brand reputation for Hunar Foundation.
  • Ensure Hunar profile is enhanced through media appearances, and top-level engagement with Government, business, the general public and other NGOs.
  • Form positive collaborative relationships with member branches and volunteers.

Programme Leadership:

  • Develop a clear strategy for Hunar Programmes both Local and International level.
  • Engage with funding providers to support Programmes where required.
  • Ensure Programmes are well planned, implemented and managed effectively.

Advocacy:

  • Act as the chief external advocate for the organization ensuring key messages for the goals of Hunar are spread across the country.

Results:

  • Achieve strategic goals for fundraising, Programme management, advocacy and financial reserves.
  • Ensure excellence in productivity.
  • Ensure financial accountability and transparency that demonstrates Hunar as leaders in the effective use of donations.

  • Outstanding in grant proposal writing for Local & International institution.
  • Demonstrable track record of Strategic Fundraising activity.

  • Experience of developing and implementing strategic and business plans

Registered in 2008 under the Societies Act 1860, Hunar Foundations took its first batch in January 2010 in premises supplied by Delhi Mercantile Society, Karachi in its DMS School facility. The students gave their City & Guilds exam at the end of the year and till 2019 14 batches had graduated with one year diplomas. Since then Hunar has added its Rashidabad (near Tando Allah Yar), Lahore (Bedian Road), Multan (Pak Arab Fertilizer) and Kharian campuses as well as a women’s institute in Karachi that started in 2015 and is in the process of relocation to a new modern upgraded facility. By end of 2019 two more institutes are added in Korangi (Karachi), one for women and one for men. Korangi campus is targeted to host a state of the art Teacher’s Training and Excellence Center. Hunar Foundation’s key objective is to provide school graduates and other young adults with international standard vocational training that meets the expectations of the market, leading to employment or small business creation – and eventually economic freedom and empowerment. Hunar Foundation offers this opportunity to the underprivileged and marginalized segments of society where the need is more urgent. Hunar offers the students a high quality learning environment of international standards. The workshops are well equipped and the courses designed to meet industry requirements.This ensures a high degree of employability for Hunar graduates.
