Job Responsibilities:

Reading, writing, analyzing and interpreting technical procedures and schematics
Designing software to control robotic systems, such as those robots used for manufacturing, packaging and palletizing etc.
Designing automated robotic systems that are used to increase the production and precision levels within specific industries
Analyzing and evaluating the prototypes and robotic systems
Debug robotics programs and systems
analyzing, reviewing and approving cost estimates and design calculations
Process or interpret signals or sensor data
Integrate multi-axis robotic arm with peripherals, such as different end effectors used for vision, force control, picking, placing, labelling, sorting, palletizing etc.
Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems
Write algorithms and programs (codes) for robot applications
Design automated robotic systems to increase production volume or precision in high-throughput operations
Conduct research on latest robotic technology to create new robotic systems or system capabilities
End to end automation of assembly lines
Evaluating and calibrating robotic systems for maximum efficiency
Teaching plans - presentations, lectures, notes and briefings
Teach and supervise, technologists, technicians, or other engineers
Serving as technical support for the robotic systems that are designed and created
Maintaining accurate documentation and records

Competencies & Skills:

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Proven ability of industrial automation
Proven skills in writing software and programming systems
Able to apply advanced mathematical concepts
Create prototypes and work on necessary controls and hardware (e.g. microcontroller, PLCs)
Familiarity with cobots and block programming
Familiarity with artificial intelligence.
Should be well versed in English Language (Spoken & Written).
Fresh graduate can be considered with strong theoretical and practical knowledge.
Final year project (FYP) related to Robotics/Industrial Automation is a plus point

Registered in 2008 under the Societies Act 1860, Hunar Foundations took its first batch in January 2010 in premises supplied by Delhi Mercantile Society, Karachi in its DMS School facility. The students gave their City & Guilds exam at the end of the year and till 2019 14 batches had graduated with one year diplomas. Since then Hunar has added its Rashidabad (near Tando Allah Yar), Lahore (Bedian Road), Multan (Pak Arab Fertilizer) and Kharian campuses as well as a women’s institute in Karachi that started in 2015 and is in the process of relocation to a new modern upgraded facility. By end of 2019 two more institutes are added in Korangi (Karachi), one for women and one for men. Korangi campus is targeted to host a state of the art Teacher’s Training and Excellence Center. Hunar Foundation’s key objective is to provide school graduates and other young adults with international standard vocational training that meets the expectations of the market, leading to employment or small business creation – and eventually economic freedom and empowerment.
