Core Responsibilities

  • Campaign planning, implementation and analysis.
  • Develop marketing strategies for promoting the brand via ATL and BTL advertising.
  • Plan and track marketing campaigns.
  • Research consumer markets and monitor market and consumers’ trends.
  • Come up with creative and engaging ideas for marketing products, brand activation and promotion.
  • Generate names for new products and come up with ideas for new packaging designs.
  • Telemarketing: Provide information to the callers as well as extracting useful data from them in order to evaluate and improve communication strategy.
  • Brand Building (Electronic / Print / Radio / Digital / PR)
  • Ensuring Low percentage of droppages / CPRP/ Grp’s
  • Manage Media relations and maximize media opportunities.
  • Media Savings

Team Management

  • Lead the marketing team and coordinate all activities in a coherent manner.
  • Develop, lead and motivate staff under the supervision.
  • Assign/re-assign task and duties.
  • Set KPIs for the team.
  • Performance evaluation

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with sales staff in order to align department’s objectives with sales targets and objectives.
  • Planning based on sales distribution network.
  • Assessment of campaign based on the amount of sales generated.
  • Provide strategic marketing support to dealers.
  • Coordinate with Sales Team for identifying potential customers.
  • Collaborate with Finance department when deciding payment terms with the vendors.

Budget Management

  • Manage budgets and spends across different marketing media.
  • Make arrangements of funds/ reserves for marketing/ promotional activities.
  • Ensure that  Marketing  expenses   are carried  out  within  the  limits  of  the  budget  assigned  to that  particular  product.
  • Generate monthly expenses report on marketing expenses and  submit  to the Director.
  • Ensure that marketing/ promotional vendor’s payments are made on time.

Competitor Analysis

  • Following areas must be covered under competitor analysis:
  • Segments served, market shares, customer base, growth rate and customer loyalty.
  • Promotional mix (Print, digital, TV, outdoor, unconventional mediums), promotional budgets, advertising themes, AD agency used, online promotional strategy.
  • Distribution channels (direct & indirect), exclusivity agreements, alliances and geographical coverage.
  • Pricing, discounts and allowances.
  • Study competitors, their marketing strategies and general market trends.

Vendor/Agency relationship management 

  • Prepare advertising briefs and coordinate with ad agencies.
  • Monitor TV, Print, Outdoor and Radio advertising.
  • Oversee the production of TV, newspaper and magazine advertisements, websites, and liaise with art designers and media buyers.

Others

  • Oversee Branding work in all branches, dealers’ shops and company’s vehicles as per the need.
  • Supervise the sign off of marketing literature and campaigns.
  • Monitor consumer reactions through focus groups and Market Research.
  • Co-ordinate the launch programs with external customers as well as employees.
  • To accept additional duties and other tasks in areas other than initially assigned, for reasons of flexibility and availability of work.
