Job brief

As a Purchase Manager you will be responsible for sourcing goods and managing vendors. Incumbent needs to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals, and find more profitable suppliers.

Responsibilities

Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
Assess, manage, and mitigate risks.
Seek and partner with dependable vendors and suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance.
Conduct supplier performance reviews at regular intervals.
Receive and share valuable feedback timely.

Requirements and skills

Proven working experience as Purchasing Manager, in FMCG/Food sector for a dynamic organization.
Profound knowledge of sourcing and vendor management protocols.
Up to date with market dynamics and competitor and market knowledge.
A flair for negotiation and networking.
Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures.
Solid judgment and decision-making skills.
Academic qualification in supply chain management or business administration.
