We are seeking a skilled and experienced Supply Chain Operations Specialist Team Lead to join our dynamic team and oversee our supply chain operations.

Job Description:

Position Overview:

As the Supply Chain Operations Specialist Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain processes and ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products. You will lead a team of specialists, manage day-to-day operations, and drive improvements in supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of Supply Chain Operations Specialists.
Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members.
Set clear performance goals and monitor progress.

Supply Chain Management:

Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan supply accordingly.
Optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring product availability.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Analyze data and key performance indicators to drive decision-making.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for supply chain processes.

Vendor and Supplier Management:

Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and quality control.
Negotiate contracts and terms to secure favorable agreements.
Evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations for improvements.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all supply chain processes adhere to quality and compliance standards.
Implement quality control measures and conduct regular audits.
Collaborate with quality teams to resolve any issues promptly.

Inventory Control:

Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock reconciliations.
Implement best practices for inventory accuracy and reduction of carrying costs.
Minimize excess or obsolete inventory.

Reporting and Analytics:

Prepare and present supply chain reports and performance metrics.
Utilize data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Make data-driven recommendations for process enhancements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
Proven experience in supply chain management, with at least [2 years] in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
