· Co-ordinate all activities required to direct and control incoming components quality. In particular to review product quality for individual assembly lines.

· Review QC processes and recommend improvements as necessary

· Ensure that quality control documentation meets customer requirements.

· Supervise inspections, reports and the documentation and collect and file the required Quality Records.

· Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials

· Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.

· Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications.

· Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests

· Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work

· Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs

· Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs.

· Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations

· Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.

· Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.

· Co‐ordinate and control day to day operations of department

· Ensure zero defects reach assembly lines

· Ensure timely checking of components
