Communicate with Sales to receive updated list of sales orders that are to be fulfilled.
Communicate with Production and Supply Chain teams to ensure that required goods, as per sales orders, are received at the warehouse in a timely manner.
In coordination with Sales, create a dispatch plan for daily deliveries based on sales orders and availability of goods, including vehicle load-planning and delivery route-planning, in Excel.
Ensure warehouse team offloads containers and performs put-away of received goods to successfully execute dispatch plan agreed with sales.
Ensure warehouse team performs timely picking, vehicle loading and dispatch of goods as per dispatch plan.
In case goods are returned due to any reason, update stock record and sales order record accordingly.
Ensure that goods with item or packing damage are placed in the quarantine zone and that the stock record is updated accordingly.
In coordination with Supply Chain team ensure that the unit or packing is repaired/replaced at the earliest.
Provide regular updates on dispatch plan and fulfilment of sales orders to Sales and Supply Chain teams.
Ensure that the warehouse team performs a monthly stock count.
Ensure all warehouse activities are performed as per defined SOPs and at desired performance levels.
Manage all employee matters at the warehouse including hiring, training, evaluation, termination, employee development and succession planning.
Responsible for ensuring safety, risk management, and administration tasks at the warehouse.
Ensure warehouse costs are kept within assigned budgets.
Submit regular reports of warehouse performance and costs against target levels.
