1) Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
2) Providing accurate time estimates of planned work
3) Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases as per requirement
4) Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
5) Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
6) Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
7) Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing projects to meet client needs
8) Liaise with internal teams (e.g. designers, developers, and project managers) to identify system requirements
9) Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
10) Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
11) Perform UI, Regression, ad-hoc, functionality and performance testing
12) Utilize JIRA as per company requirements to customize the workflow, execute tests, log defects and acceptance criteria
13) Execute functional cross-browser testing both on Desktop and Responsive websites
14) Review and provide feedback in Sprint Planning
15) Automate web UI testing
16) Work closely with product owners, engineers, and team members to identify areas and methods to help improve testing efficiency, expand coverage and increase product reliability
17) Manage, support and coordinate business and QA aspects of software development activities, including requirement analysis and QA of applications
18) Should have to research new tools and technologies and evaluate their usefulness for the team / company.
