Job Overview:

Channel Account Manager (CAM) is a sales focused role that ensures sales targets are achieved through partner channel network. By maintaining a strong and consistent follow-up on all sales inquiries and pushing channel partners to achieve sales targets. CAM is the focal point for sales activities of the channel network.

Responsibilities:

  • Promoting & pushing product sales in the assigned territory through channel partners
  • Assisting channel partners grow business and help preparing Go-To Market Plans/Strategies
  • Facilitating inbound sales inquiries by providing product information and prices to authorized channel partners
  • Facilitating the partner sales inquiries by obtaining deal registrations and special price discount approvals from the vendor as per the customer/channel partner requirements
  • Work in close coordination with concerned departments for designing and executing market development initiatives.
  • Assist in designing, proposing and supporting the execution of sales incentives and promotional activities that result in target achievement.
  • Maintaining a strong follow-up on renewal sales to ensure successful closure.
  • Achieving territory sales targets by maintaining close, regular, and strong follow-up on all sales inquiries and opportunities
  • Tracking and forecasting all sales leads/opportunities and maintaining up-to-date prospects and sales activity data of partners and various accounts
  • Maintaining end-customer contact to ensure sales opportunities are handled and supported effectively for successful closure
