We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to translate our business requirements into UI Designs for engineers, whilst also working to enhance existing software into easy-to-use products for our clients. Our requirements include:
- Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with business analysts, product managers and engineers
- Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Designing graphics user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets and a host of UI components UI/UX Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools.
Research skills for understanding the user, conducting A/B tests and observing a user’s interaction with the UI is a natural part of the role. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our internal and end clients’ needs.
Responsibilities & Required Skills
● Graphic design portfolio with experience in designing mobile, desktop and web interfaces
● Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role over a number of projects and portfolio of design projects which include UI Animations
● Keen interest in enhancing user and product experiences through applying design principles
● Excellent HTML/CSS skills, with a demonstrated history of converting mockups into web pages. Bootstrap, Flex, LESS, SAAS, Materliaze, Semantic, etc should be part of your skill set
● Working knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery. Experience of working with projects that have utilized React, Angular or Vue.js would be a big plus but not essential
● Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Protopie, Wireframe.cc and/or InVision)
● Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
● Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders. You should be a good listener and demonstrate an ability to understand the users' requirements
● BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field.
