We are looking for an individual who should have a clear understanding of responsive web design and examples of these skills implemented on e-commerce web sites.
You should be good in all of these technologies:
- Javascript/jQuery
- Responsive Design
- Wordpress Theming
- Basic Understanding of PHP5
- Basic understand of Magento Theming
- HTML5/CSS3
Basic Skills & Technical Requirements:
- Must be a good team player.
- Should be very good in PSD to HTML conversion
- Proven WordPress theme development experience.
- In-depth knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and Responsive Web Design.
- Knowledge of Twitter Bootstrap and Grid Systems is a plus.
- Must be able to create WordPress themes from scratch
- Expert understanding of Magento's code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fallback components
- Expertise in authoring and extending Magento extensions
- Thorough experience in customizing Magento's front-end components using layout XML, blocks, and templates
- Competent knowledge of e-commerce data organization and relationships
- Competent in authoring JavaScript and using libraries such as jQuery
- Competent in web services integrations
- A desire to be personally responsible for production-level code
- Comfort working with Linux-based systems
- Adjusting templates for CMS pages and category pages
- Installing/creating/troubleshooting extensions
- Everything else technical on the Wordpress & Magento CE platform.
