HR Specialist

Position:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a motivated and experienced team. We are looking for a high caliber individual to take an important role in Human Resources. You will have exposure in a multinational corporation and have significant responsibility for a range of HR activities at the Lahore office of u-blox working in collaboration with the HR manager. The role provides a steady career with good compensation and benefits.

Primary Tasks:

Take part in sourcing candidates that match the desired skills and recruitment
Actively take part in implementing HR policies and procedures
Process staff information and update the HR database system
Review and maintain HR KPIs
Be accessible and respond to manager and staff enquiries in a timely manner
Provide general departmental administrative assistance to HR
Assist in writing job descriptions
Monitor staff attendance and enquire in case of issues
Provide basic counseling to staff who have performance related obstacles
Provide recommendations on corrective actions in case of HR issues

Secondary Tasks:

Participate in on-campus recruitment and job fairs
Prepare notices and advertisements for open positions
Schedule and organize interviews
Participate in applicant interviews
Conduct reference checks on possible candidates
Assist in preparing visa applications for employees
New joiners orientation and coordination of the same with line managers
Ensure that the local section of the HR intranet site and related documents are up-to-date

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3+ years of experience in Human Resources
MBA/BBA degree
Broad knowledge of HR
Highly organized with a focus on quality
Structured and detail oriented
Friendly customer oriented personality
Team player with an open-minded personality
Proactive, smart and cooperative
Dedicated and able to demonstrate a high level of trust
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
