Main responsibilities:
· Design and develop features and modules for e-Commerce & Web Applications
· Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle (back-end and front-end)
· Write well designed, testable, efficient code
· Strong Database Management & Query Optimization Skills
· Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
· Prepare and produce releases of software components
· Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
· Optimization of the application (ensure database & load optimization and performance)
· Ensure data security (encryption) and application maintenance
Knowledge and abilities:
Main criteria
· BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
· 3+ years of hands-on Web Development Experience
· 2+ years of experience in PHP development
· 2+ years of experience in CSS, HTML5, JavaScript Development
· Good experience with MySQL or related Databases
· Good experience with Ajax
· Hands on experience in designing and developing e-Commerce applications is a plus
· Experience with Software House or Agency is another plus
· Good communication skills and client-oriented attitude
· Problem solving skills, analytical mind and positive attitude
· Results oriented and focused on meeting deliverable timelines
